Meet The Dynamic Health Team

Matt Calhoun

Physiotherapist, Owner

Matt Calhoun is the owner and physiotherapist for Dynamic Health Physiotherapy. He has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (UNB), a Master’s of Science in Sport and Exercise Science (UNB) where he specialized in Biomechanics. Matt completed his Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy (Dalhousie) in 2013 and has since worked in private practice as a registered physiotherapist.

Matt spends his days providing physiotherapy care and working on improving his patient experience. His current professional interests include studying The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy and acupuncture.

Catherine Aikman

Clinic Manager

Catherine graduated from Bishop’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Environmental Studies. She has since worked primarily in customer service, offering guidance and support in both English and French.

Originally from rural Quebec, Catherine made the move to Fredericton in 2019. When she is not working Catherine can usually be found practicing yoga, meditating and/or spending time in nature. She also enjoys gardening and creating new recipes in her kitchen. (Especially when the new recipes include what’s been grown in the garden!!)

In 2020 Catherine completed her Nutrition Coach, Level 1 Certification through Precision Nutrition. Presently Catherine is working on her PN Level 1 Sleep, Stress Management, and Recovery Coaching Certification.  This continued learning has provided Catherine with new insight into helping clients reach their fitness and nutrition goals.

Ashley Wyrwas Monteith

Registered Massage Therapist

Ashley graduated from the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage 2200-hour program, with a focus in sport massage. Previous to ACTM, she graduated from UNB with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2015.

Ashley is from the Fredericton area and is excited to stay in the community and provide massage therapy treatments to her clients.

She has been trained in Traditional Swedish Massage techniques, applied sports massage myofascial therapy, soft tissue release, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and hydrotherapy.

Elyse Ferguson

Physiotherapist

Elyse holds a Master’s in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University, where she honed her skills in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Elyse graduated from UNB with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2017. Originally from Nova Scotia, Elyse decided to stay in Fredericton and enjoy the intricate trail system this beautiful city has to offer. 

Elyse is committed to restoring movement, reducing pain, and enhancing overall well-being. Striving to create a supportive environment where patients feel empowered on their rehabilitation journey. Beyond clinical practice, Elyse enjoys staying active by playing hockey and pickleball (she loves chatting everything Toronto Maple Leafs), and during her downtime can be found crocheting. 

Kieran Foord

Physiotherapist

Kieran Foord graduated from Dalhousie University Physiotherapy in 2023, after completing his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick in 2020.  In university Kieran played varsity soccer, was a member of the UNB Kin games team, and worked as a strength centre supervisor at his university gym.  

Growing up in Fredericton, Kieran is excited to return and help his clients regain and take ownership of their health.  He understands the physical, mental, and emotional tole an injury has on a person, and is excited to help his clients achieve their goals and prevent further injury.

Shea Prendergast

Physiotherapy Assistant

Shea a Certified Personal Trainer and a graduate of the Holland College Kinesiology program. During her time at college, she worked as a student therapist as well as a strength and conditioning coach for the Hurricanes’ Women’s Basketball Team.

Shea spent time working in the Cole Harbour and Halifax areas as a Personal Trainer and a Fitness Instructor before moving back to Fredericton.

She is CSEP-CPT Certified and now works as a Physiotherapy Assistant at Dynamic Health.

Bridget Pyke

Dietitian

Bridget Pyke is from Fredericton, New Brunswick and has been a Registered Dietitian for 5 years. She received her Master’s in Human Nutrition from McGill University and her undergrad in Bio-Chemisty from the University of New Brunswick. Bridget is passionate about helping her clients create healthier lifestyles and develop healthier relationships with food. Her goal is to help you feel your absolute best when it comes to your nutrition habits and give you the tools to navigate your health in a way that fits your life. Her specialties include healthy weight management, intuitive eating, diabetes and sports nutrition.

Aside from her work as a dietitian, Bridget also has a passion for fitness, particularly weight lifting and bodybuilding. She understands the challenge of finding a balance between fitness and nutrition and enjoys helping others reach their full potential through nutrition and healthy living. You can also find Bridget experimenting in the kitchen, trying new and interesting recipes.

Jeannette Morgan

Patient Coordinator

Jeannette has been helping to create an excellent patient experience for 20 years. Her dedication to our patients and the team is apparent in her commitment to go the extra mile.

Jeannette was born and raised on a dairy farm in the Crabbe Mountain area. She lived in the surrounding area until recently, when her and her husband decided to move to Fredericton. Keeping active is important to Jeannette. She loves to go for walks, and you can often find her and her husband enjoying a bike ride on Fredericton’s trail system – and making stops for a delicious coffee! Jeannette also likes to take the roads less travelled and explore new areas of New Brunswick.

We are very glad to have Jeannette on the Dynamic Health Team as she continues to share her love for helping everyone become healthier, happier and stronger so they can do what they love to do in life!

Megan Cormier

Patient Coordinator

Megan was born and raised in Fredericton and went to UNB to pursue a degree after high school. She graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, reading and spending time with her dog. 

 
Megan has worked in customer service/healthcare for several years and enjoys meeting new patients and helping people. She is excited to be a part of the team at Dynamic Health and hopes to provide patients with the best service possible!
